#7 - Dr Alessandro Ferreri - This Actually IS Rocket Science - The Journey Of A Space Engineer

How many times have we heard the expression “it’s not rocket science”?

Well, in this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Dr. Alessandro Ferreri, a real-life rocket scientist.

I’ve been looking forward to this episode for a while. Ale has one of the coolest and unique jobs on the planet and he is working in the field of space engineering at such an exciting time for the industry.

It was fascinating to learn more about Ale’s job, the pathway into his career, and the role he and his employer are playing in trying to clean up man-made debris from space.

Ale also talks about his inspiration to be a space engineer, his views on human settlement in space, what a day in the life of a space engineer looks like, if he would like to visit another planet, whether billionaires are a positive influence in space exploration, plus much much more. 

I consider myself fortunate to have Ale as a friend, allowing me to constantly learn from his expertise. I hope you find this episode as enjoyable to listen to as I did to record.
